Health Warranty
Florida Pups provides a FREE veterinary wellness checkup the
Sarasota Veterinarian Center. You must
use your free visit within four (4) business days. To take advantage of you
free vet visit, YOUR PUPPY MUST BE EXAMINED BY (date) _____________________> If at the time of you free wellness checkup
the veterinarian feels that you puppy needs medication (excluding vaccinations)
we will provide it free of charge or reimburse you for the medication.
The puppy you have purchased is warranted to be healthy by
Florida Pups to the original purchaser, in accordance with Florida law section
828.29, at the time of purchase. During
the fourteen (14) calendar days following the purchase, should a veterinarian
certify that, at the time of purchase, the puppy was unfit for sale due to
illness or disease or the presence of symptoms of a contagious or infectious
disease, you must (i) notify Florida Pups within 24 hours and (ii)
provide written certification from the veterinarian to Florida Pups no later
than three (3) business days following the receipt thereof. A puppy is not determined unfit for sale due
to an injury sustained or illness contracted after a customer takes possession of
the puppy.

ONE-YEAR EXTENDED PUPPY WARRANTY
Should a veterinarian diagnose and certify, within one (1)
year of the date of purchase, a hereditary or congenital disorder that is currently
interfering with your puppy’s ability to lead a normal life, Florida Pups will
reimburse you for medical treatment undertaken to remedy the condition up the original
purchase price of the puppy. You must
notify Florida Pups within two (2) business days of the diagnosis and written certification
from a veterinarian and must be presented to Florida Pups no later than three
(3) business days following receipt thereof.
Under Florida state law, Florida
Pups has the right to require the customer to produce the pet for examination
by a licensed veterinarian designated by Florida Pups.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Florida Pups does not reimburse for routine office visits, vaccinations,
deworming, flea treatments, heartworm preventative, or for hypoglycemia (HYPOGLYCEMIA
IS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRENTY).
Florida Pups warrants this puppy to the original purchaser only, this
warranty is not transferable. The
purchaser is defined as the person who signs this warranty.
This puppy is provided as a companion animal only. No warranty coverage, whether expressed or
implied, is offered that the purchaser will be able to use this pet for show or
breeding purposes. Florida Pups does not
warrant size, temperament, trainability, or social ability. Registration papers are supplied as a
courtesy. Florida Pups is not
responsible for errors, omissions, or misrepresentation by others. If you are eligible for credit as a result of
warranty, it is a requirement of this warranty to assign and return all
registration documents. All warranties
apply only to the pet you have purchased.
Florida Pups is not responsible for any other pets that may have been
allowed to contract illness from the warranted pet. The above constitutes the entire warranty
provided by Florida Pups.

instructions included in the care sheet provided. It is in the pups best interest that the HEALTH
CARE TRANSITION SHEET be followed. This
is a living animal and communication is key to a flawless transition our home
to yours. That includes activation of the free Doctor Pups account provided.

Jurisdiction Clause - Any civil action against Sunshine Lakes Pups must be filed within the state of FL. We also adhere to the Florida Lemon Laws.
Florida Pet Lemon Law
It is the consumers right, pursuant to the section 828.29, Florida
States to receive a certificate of veterinary inspection with each dog or cat
purchased from a pet dealer (breeder).
Such certificate shall list all vaccinations, deworming, medications
administered to the animal and shall state that the animal has been examined by
a Florida-licensed veterinarian who certifies that to the best of their
veterinarian’s knowledge, the animal was found to have been healthy at the time
of the veterinary examination. In the
event that the consumer purchases the animal and finds it to have been unfit to
purchase as provided in section 828.296(5) Florida Statues, the consumer must
notify the dealer (breeder) within 2 business days of the veterinarian’s
determination that the animal was unfit.
The consumer has the right to retain, or exchange the animal and receive
reimbursement for certain related veterinary services rendered to the animal,
subject to the right of the dealer (breeder) to have the animal examined by
another veterinarian.
